HR & Office Administrator

Hi there!

We are in search of a motivated and talented individual to join our company and start working in our energetic HR & Office team.

People are very important at d.labs and our goals for 2021 & beyond show that supporting people will continue to be crucial in the company. Our current and future hiring needs are high, our people-focused goals are ambitious, we are moving to brand new offices, and what is more, with us restructuring into a remote-first company in early 2020, people-support efforts have become even more important. Our team of HR and office experts is excited to invite another person onto our team!

Responsibilities

  • You will be in charge of all employee documentation and administration: preparation of contracts and all other employment documents, care for the employee database and personnel files, health & safety, etc. With new coworkers joining us all the time, you can imagine you won’t be bored. :)
  • You will care for our Ljubljana office by communicating with all outside providers (cleaners etc.) and making sure our surroundings and supplies are in order, ordering goods and stocking our kitchens, and also keeping an online eye on our smaller Maribor office to make sure all is in order
  • You will be the go-to person for organising logistics of work-travel for our coworkers, including booking travel & sleeping arrangements (you know, when we are able to travel again …)
  • You will be the owner of our documents archive
  • You will collaborate with our HR ladies when organising company events (online and in person) and various employee wellbeing initiatives

‍‍Experience and Skills

  • At least a year of relevant experience in HR or Office (student work applies)
  • Good knowledge of HR administration and relevant Slovene legislation (you are able to prepare an employment contract, can calculate commute costs, know how to keep an employee database, how to organise a health & safety program etc.)
  • Fluency in Slovene and English
  • A high degree for self-organisation, responsibility and precision at work
  • A sense of ownership & drive for quality of work
  • Resourcefulness and proactivity
  • Great communication & people skills
  • Ability and willingness to come into the Ljubljana office multiple times a week
  • Education in human resources or similar will be an advantage
  • Experience working in a remote team will be an advantage
  • Experience working in a modern tech company will be an advantage
  • Great team player, prepared to support the team and be supported in return :)

Why you'll enjoy working at d.labs

  • Our teams work on interesting international projects, trying to make a real difference

  • Our development center in Ljubljana and a coworking office in Maribor are available to our employees at all times, making it their choice to work from home or from the office
  • We work flexible working hours and have a relaxed working environment

  • You will work in a team, with an emphasis on teamwork and us having each other's backs
  • We offer fair pay, a transparent career and promotion plan
  • We have regular monthly 1on1 meetings with our managers

  • Our offices are designed for a good working experience in a relaxed and fun environment (video games, table football, bean bags, couches etc.)
  • We offer activities for caring for our health (gym membership)
