subscribe to our newsletterJaka, thanks for the great overview on Online Marketplaces!
Thank you for the presentation, it was great!
Marketplaces are notoriously difficult to build. Juggling between the evolving needs of supply and demand side of the business model - while maintaining a steady growth - is not a task for the meek. And yet, because of their inherent network effects, they have proven to be some of the most valuable and resilient businesses and easily take the crown on the top of the business model pyramid.
With the advent of managed marketplaces that vouch for the quality of experiences (and goods) and via the introduction of deep learning mechanism to take over the matching between sellers and buyers, we are migrating into the next era of marketplaces - and one that seems is going to be more exciting than ever before.
We’re going to walk through the past stages of marketplace evolutions to better understand the different types of marketplaces we’ve seen to date and revisit some of d.labs learnings, failures and successes. And hopefully make it a bit easier to answer what tomorrow's successful marketplace looks like today.
The webinar will take 45 minutes, followed by a 15 min Q&A session. If you've already prepared any questions related to your business case, that you'd like Jaka to address in the webinar, feel free to connect with him on LinkedIn prior to the webinar.
